Obviously customers are essential to your business. You have to work hard to get customers. Would you allow someone to send information from your competitors to your customers? Of course you would not allow it. But, some of our competitors do exactly that. They view your customers as their customers. They send weekly emails to your customers with ads from your competitors. Let’s say you create a fantastic course on “Website Development” and sell that course to 100 customers. Some of our competitors (udemy for example) will send those 100 customers emails telling them to buy “Website Development” related courses from your competitors.
